For over two decades, I've worked as a freelance cameraman and specialist camera operator, building a reputation for delivering exceptional visuals and sound for various productions. My client list includes major broadcasters such as BBC, ITV, TNT, Channel 4, Channel 5, and Sky.
My specialism in sports broadcasting has led to work on prestigious events like Sky Sports Premier League, world-class tennis tournaments, and the Commonwealth Games. I'm skilled in capturing the dynamic energy of live sports, translating the moment's excitement to the screen.
Beyond sports, I collaborate closely with directors from pre-production to on-set execution, contributing to the visual storytelling. This includes script analysis, shot planning, and the development of innovative shooting techniques. I am proficient in various lighting techniques and operate various professional camera equipment, ensuring the highest quality results.

- International Sporting Events: My experience in sports broadcasting includes working on major international events such as Sky Sports Premier League/EFL/WSL, the Men's Euros 2021, Women's Euros 2022, the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2024 Paralympics. Working with host broadcasters at these events was a career goal realised.
- High-Profile Political Coverage: As a Poole Camera Operator for Neon Broadcast and Hot Head, I was responsible for capturing live footage of significant political events, including speeches by Prime Ministers David Cameron (Brexit speech, 2016), Boris Johnson (2019), Liz Truss (2022), and Rishi Sunak (outside 10 Downing Street). This role demanded meticulous pre-planning, including site surveys the night before, navigating strict security protocols, coordinating with government media liaisons, and adhering to specific filming etiquette.
- BBC Drama (Sherlock): I operated Steadicam for a complex 360-degree shot for the BBC drama Sherlock. This required close collaboration with the actors, detailed rehearsals, and precise camera movement to achieve the director's vision of a slow-motion gunshot for graphic overlay. The final shot was successfully delivered and used in the episode.
